World Bamboo Day 2022 on September 18 is celebrated to create awareness about
the conservation of this most useful plant. Today it was created by the World

The first all-women camel riding squad will be deployed by the Border Security
Force (BSF) along the India-Pakistan border in Rajasthan and Gujarat. It will
participate in the BSF Rising Day Parade on 1st December for the first time.
This squad is the first squad in the world. BSF Bikaner, DIG Pushpendra Singh
Rathore said the squad was given intensive training under the supervision of
expert trainers at Bikaner regional headquarters of BSF.

IAF's project name Cheetah: Israeli Heron drones with strike capabilities will
be deployed as part of the Indian Air Force's Project Cheetah under the Make in
India programme. Project Cheetah aims to improve the Indian Air Force's
Israeli-made Heron unmanned aerial vehicles with more robust communication
capabilities and long-range missiles capable of hitting enemy sites.
