1. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the first greenfield airport in Arunachal Pradesh. Dhoni Polo Airport in Itanagar and 600 MW Kameng Hydro Power Station were dedicated to the nation. 2. The Vikram S rocket was India's first privately developed rocket launched from the Indian Space Research Organization at the Sriharikota launch pad. The launch of the Vikram S rocket by ISRO was a historic event.

The Vikram S rocket is a single-stage solid-fueled sub-orbital rocket developed over two years by incorporating advanced technology that includes carbon composite structures and 3D printer parts.
