1. The United Nations observes the International Day for the Total Abolition of Nuclear Weapons on 26 September every year. Today's objective is to raise public awareness of the threat posed to humanity by nuclear weapons and the need for their complete elimination.  The first resolution of the General Assembly in 1946 established that the Atomic Energy Commission had a mandate to make specific proposals for the control of nuclear power and the elimination not only of nuclear weapons but also of all other major weapons of mass destruction.

 The General Assembly adopted the goal of general and complete disarmament in 1959. The first special session of the General Assembly devoted to disarmament, held in 1978, further recognized that nuclear disarmament was a priority objective in the field of disarmament.

The Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons was ratified on July 7, 2017. The agreement is significant as it is the first multilateral legally negotiated instrument for nuclear disarmament in 20 years. On August 2, 2019, the United States withdrew from the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty, although the United States and the Russian Federation had previously committed to eliminating all nuclear missiles. September 26 is observed by the General Assembly as the International Day for the Total Abolition of Nuclear Weapons.

5. Uttar Pradesh cabinet has given green signal for development of first tiger reserve in Bundelkhand region. The tiger reserve is spread over 52,989.863 hectares including buffer area of ​​29,958.863 hectares and core area of ​​23,031.00 hectares already notified as Ranipur Wildlife Sanctuary in Chitrakoot district of the state.

 The area of ​​Ranipur Tiger Reserve is covered by North Tropical Dry Deciduous Forest. It is home to tiger, leopard, bear, spotted deer, sambar, chinkara, reptiles and other mammals.
