1. The
United Nations observes the International Day for the Total Abolition of
Nuclear Weapons on 26 September every year. Today's objective is to raise
public awareness of the threat posed to humanity by nuclear weapons and the
need for their complete elimination. It provides an opportunity to educate

and the social and economic costs of perpetuating them.
The
Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons was ratified on July 7, 2017. The

States withdrew from the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty, although the
United States and the Russian Federation had previously committed to

5. Uttar
Pradesh cabinet has given green signal for development of first tiger reserve
in Bundelkhand region. The tiger reserve is spread over 52,989.863
hectares including buffer area of 29,958.863 hectares and core area of 23,031.00 hectares already notified as
Ranipur Wildlife Sanctuary in Chitrakoot district of the state.
6. Hitachi Austemo has installed India's first ground-mounted solar power plant of 3 megawatts (MW) at its Jalgaon manufacturing plant. This solar power plant will be built on an area of 43301 square meters. This ground mounted solar power plant consists of 7128 ground mounted solar panels and 10 inverters. is the first ever bird festival in the union territory Jammu and Kashmir has
launched Bird Festival 2022 at Pahalgam in south
