1.September 15 International Day of Democracy. The day is celebrated annually across the world to strengthen democracy, highlight its values ​​and principles. This year, Democracy Day focuses on the importance of media freedom to democracy, peace and the Sustainable Development Goals.

 

2.Naga Mircha Festival 2022 was celebrated for the first time at Seihama. The festival was sponsored by the Horticulture Department. Naga Mircha is also the first product from Nagaland to receive GI tag. Also known as King Chilli, Naga Chilli has developed significantly in the field of agriculture. After Naga Mircha Festival 2022 this festival will be held annually.

 

3.Senior advocate Mukul Rohatgi has been reappointed as the 14th Attorney General of India after KK Venugopal's post was vacated. This will be his second term as AG after his first stint earlier between June 2014 and June 2017. AG Venugopal's tenure extension expires on September 30
